In episode 52 of the She Proves Faithful podcast I talk about body image. It's something I struggled with until I got married. It seem to vanish for a moment until pregnancy and child-bearing came around. My body changed dramatically and it was hard to adjust to the new "normal" for me.
Body image is certainly a spiritual issue and the Word has many truths for us to consider as we face this struggle. I give four practical Truths that have helped me in episode 52.
Body image aside, there is a part of me that does want to be strong and physically able. I want to be able to play with my kids, and be strong for my task as a wife and mother and woman.
