discipleship plans

"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded. And surely I am with you always, even to the end of the age." -JESUS (Matthew 28:19-20)

How Do We Make A Disciple?

A disciple is a student, a follower - one who learns and puts it into practice. Jesus wants us to make followers of Him because He forgives, saves, redeems, and give a flourishing life to His followers. By helping others know Jesus through knowing His Word and obeying His commands, we are giving them a gift of HOPE.

Discipleship is simple. It's one beggar showing another beggar where to find bread. You take what you've learned from God and you let someone else in on the goodness.

Using discipleship plans

One effective way to help others grow as a student of Jesus is to teach her what the Bible says and help her apply it to her life. Sometimes we don't know where to start or we get tripped up because we don't have "content" to go through.

All you really need is God's Word - read it together, discuss it, apply it to life.
